Ofsted Report

The school was inspected by HMI Richardson and his team in September 2010, and we are absolutely delighted with the report. The tables summarising the judgements and grades show a majority of Grade 2, i.e. the inspectors found many aspects of school life at Baysgarth to be good, with attendance being outstanding. The text also contains many "goods" to describe what we do and how pupils and parents feel about Baysgarth. This is the profile of a good school. The staff work hard for the benefit of our pupils and it is most heartening to see the inspectors feel we are doing a good job.

However, we are not complacent and will not be resting on our laurels. We have always said that we can continue to improve in all that we do, and this is still the case as we continue our work over the next three years to become outstanding.

The most recent report, along with previous ones, is available through the link below, or via Ofsted's website at www.ofsted.gov.uk.

If you should wish to discuss HMI Richardson's report, please do not hesitate to contact either myself or a senior colleague at the school.
