Key Stage 3
This section is intended to tell you what your child will learn during the first three years of secondary education. Since the introduction of the National Curriculum this period of time has become known as KEY STAGE 3 and covers Years 7 - 9.
The information in the section is arranged by faculty, and then by subjects within the faculty. Each entry contains similar information under the following headings.
- The curriculum content of the subject. This is the work which your child will actually do in the lessons.
- The teaching methods used.
- The resources available.
- The skills and knowledge we expect pupils to gain.
