All pupils follow courses in English, Mathematics, Triple Award, Dual Award or Applied Science, Technology, ICT, Religious Studies and Physical Education. They will also follow a Citizenship programme.

Other examination subjects are chosen from French, German, History, Geography, RE, Art, Music, Drama, Business Studies, Physical Education and Applied Manufacturing. All these subjects have 2 periods a week.

All KS4 pupils follow an ICT course - GCSE short course or OCR National. Some pupils at KS4 are following core subjects and a Work Based Learning programme: BTEC Construction Studies, Horticulture and ICT.

Almost all courses lead to the GCSE examinations taken at the end of Year 11.
